a big issue on heated rivalry twitter is that a lot of you don’t like heated rivalry and hollanov and you project your feelings for the actors onto the characters and make it everyone’s problem
It breaks my heart how many people in this fandom hate Ilya. A depressed queer character who’s been through so much is constantly viewed in bad faith, misinterpreted and reduced to something he’s not. This goes beyond disliking a character, it shows a disturbing lack of empathy.
Love when people take things like this out of context when in reality this is right after Ilya did the work of scanning the menu looking for something Shane would like and feel good about eating bc he knew Shane would be anxious about it
