Bereaved at 9, my work as a #UKCP psychotherapist is to research, understand and discuss early life loss and its impact in adult life. I help heal individuals, couples and families, run workshops and continue to be a voice for #adultsbereavedaschildren
14 ABCs came to “Synthesising Childhood Bereavement into Adult Existence”
“I have renewed hope I will be able to have a fulfilled life”
“So brilliantly thought out, conceived and delivered”
“I could not be more satisfied 11/10”
“Really full of content”
Thank you 🙏

Last May I met @cajardineMP to discuss the #nochildgrievesalone campaign. Bereavement Support (Children and Young People) Private Members Bill comes back to Parliament on the 17th June for a Second Reading. I wish Christine all the best 🙏 @winstonswish@cbukhelp@CBNtweets
Amazing study day by @cbukhelp , thank you! It was wonderful to speak alongside so many wonderful speakers with a shared vision.
Rich conversations on what it means to be an ABC, and what is needed. So grateful to everyone who attended too🙏 #adultsbereavedaschildren
Pleased to be invited to speak at this event. My work has been dedicated to researching this phenomenon and supporting Adults Bereaved as Children in a variety of ways. I look forward to sharing 14 years of knowledge!
10 weeks of group therapy has bought some wonderful feedback/significant uplift in mood scores collected. It's Time Charity create difference for young adults bereaved in early life, I am grateful to collaborate with them.
A hope I had for a long time, and it keeps me going🙏
14 wonderful beings attended 'Synthesising Childhood Bereavement into Adult Existence'.
A weekend of many emotions, on their individual journey held within a group of similar souls. I watched as they dug deep, excavated more, found layers of themselves, this is the journey!
14 years ago I walked into this building full of unresolved childhood grief at CCPE. This weekend I am running a 2 day workshop with my fellow ABC Tara Nash.
This building, and the people, were pivotal in finding myself amongst the debris of life. Time to pass the wisdom on.
It was always my desire to work with a charity to make a wider difference for adults bereaved as children. Really happy to be part of the wonderful team @itstimecharity and look forward to growing more from our initial group therapy happening now 🙏
Gratitude to @AnnalisaB for my interview.
I receive heartwarming feedback from the podcasts I do, it helps individuals understand why they feel the way they do as an ABC.
I would appreciate any shares to spread the word, thank you.

We're exploring happy endings in the latest issue of New Psychotherapist for @UKCP_Updates, with a look at bringing therapeutic relationships to a successful end, and @MandyJGosling reflects on working with people who have unresolved childhood grief
Last night I attended Tara’s book launch. It's a privilege to know her as a fellow ABC, friend and colleague. Honouring how she used personal experiences to help others. This is a book of hope for all types, and stages of grief, in the journey of transformation and growth. ❤️
It has now been over a year since I first called for bereaved children to get better access to support. I have now secured a commitment from the Government for a meeting with all the relevant Ministers, to discuss how we can ensure no child misses out on the help they need.
