我們運用台灣生物資料庫發現，適量飲酒與較好的腎功能有關，尤其在糖尿病患者中更為明顯。雖結果具有啟發性，但僅觀察性研究，無法證明因果關係。不建議為了健康而飲酒，因酒精仍有健康風險。
