The internet never forgets, apparently. A twitch streamer @worldsofzzt managed to unearth and play an old ZZT game I made when I was 12 and just starting highschool.
I don't remember much beyond the title screen, but was exactly as god awful as I would have expected.
@shifttymike MTP completely abstracts the underlying FS, that's why you'd be able to determine the filename. Raw SCSI is block read/write oremtatied, no way to know what is being accessed without parsing the FS table yourself and mapping the blocks to files.
Finally got to finish the RG kit I started two months ago. Hobbies and newborns don't mix.
Still not a fan of the decals, gave up after just a few. Too fiddly and the end result is better without them (other then the textual ones). Would much prefer the plastics were printed.
@fractalmindmike Still have another RG Gundam EXIA and the Evangelion Unit 01 DX to construct. This one was a bit sloppy (even my my standards) due to limited time, but I'm in it for the joy of the build rather than the end result.
People cold calling repeatedly without leaving their name and purpose don't actually expect a call back, right?
What good is a "please call me back" message with no indication of who the heck their are of what they want. Ain't nobody got time for that.
No chip, cat is now in cat jail awaiting owner (or readoption). I thought microchipping was mandatory now.
What's the dang point of a collar with no info tag, if the pet isn't microchipped?
My wife is secretly a cat burglar, it seems. A lost kitty (with collar stick around its leg) has been hanging around outside for a few days, always very hungry.
Wife finally managed to capture it tonight so we could take it to the vets and hopefully be reunited with its owner.
Changed my mind part way through, decided I wanted the shoulder mounts after all. Still need to build the big cannon.
Nice to finally find a quiet hobby I can relax with after spinning my wheels for so long.
I'm really enjoying Gundam model building, it's quite therapeutic after long stressful weeks. Love the high detail, even in bits that get covered up by the end.
Even an idiot like me can do it (after fixing my mistakes, since it's all glue-less construction...).
Seems @Atlassian is the world leader in What You See Isn't What You Bloody Asked For editors.
I never thought I'd get more frustrated than the days of using Microsoft Word, yet here we are. Is there a way to just edit Markdown into Confluence?
@zaphodikus Not brave, LEGO didn't provide any. I was fully prepared to go full Homer Simpson if one of the three trillion gears in the gearbox wasn't aligned properly when it finally came time to power it up.
Also finished my Volvo Articulated Hauler build this long weekend, and it worked correctly first time despite zero verification steps throughout the whole thing.
Fun build but the Control+ stuff is distinctly underwhelming. Will stick to the manual models from now on.
*hoooonk*
Well, the first Gundam build (HG grade) I tried went pretty well, I think I've found a new hobby. No glue mess, takes a while to put together and I'd rather stare at a mecha robot than war related stuff afterwards.
Which absolute monster designed the POSIX time APIs, and decided to use "west" (read: inverted) offsets from UTC? Was principle of least suprise not a thing in the early Unix days?
