@FixingEducation These situations seem to be increasing drastically and little to no consequences are being implemented. Other students are experiencing pretty traumatic situations where kids are destroying a classroom, teacher materials, etc and all a teacher can do is evacuate the classroom.

I wish there was more coverage of the horrible things happening with Greg Abbott’s takeover of the Houston schools.

Teachers are being given scripted lessons, with a timer that dings every four minutes for students to bubble in answers on a sheet.
