Mass wedding is done to stop a serious social problem. If you are not from the state, what’s your problem with it.

Olomu, either you're in Lagos or Ibadan, we know there are a lot of young Yoruba boys and girls that are very poor, but are living together; not as husband and wife, but they're in "relationship", and they cohabit and produce kids. Some even live under bridge, and are still producing kids. I have travelled wide in Lagos, and in some southwest states and you can't tell me anything about this. I know some that are not entirely unable to go out and hustle for daily bread, and they have kept girlfriends in their one room apartments, again not as wives, and they live together and produce children. Now, if a govt decided to formalise that illegal living between two of them and made it legal by consummating a marriage, what is the problem with that? Is it not better to produce a child in wedlock even when the parent are poor, than to produce a bastard outside wedlock and the parent are still poor?

@omar_dddg Your problem is salafis , the Hadith specifically refers to the day of Eid , nobody have ever objected to that, the brother in the video is talking about takbeer after congregational prayers of the Eid adha days.

@MasterBolaji We pray nothing happens in South west but it isn’t about unity.
It was fully oppose in the north, at the beginning but when informants and suppliers are well compensated by bandit , the terrorism took different paths. The campaign should be against informant & logistics.
