I got curious about AI usage trends in the workplace and started looking around for data.

I came across this chart from OpenAI, and at first glance it looks like ChatGPT is being used less for work over time.

But I do not think that is the full story.

A lot of serious work usage may be moving into more specialized channels:
Coding tools, API-based workflows, and other domain-specific tools.
