تاریخی حقیقت یہ ہے کہ پنجاب طویل عرصے تک افغان سلطنت کے زیرِ سایہ رہا، نہ کہ کابل کبھی پنجاب کا حصہ رہا ہو۔ 1747ء میں احمد شاہ ابدالی نے افغان سلطنت کی بنیاد رکھی، اور اس کی فتوحات پنجاب، کشمیر، ملتان اور دہلی تک پھیل گئیں۔ اس دور میں لاہور، سیالکوٹ اور ملتان کے گورنر کابل دربار سے مقرر کیے جاتے تھے اور پنجاب کی محصول کابل و قندھار کے خزانوں میں جمع ہوتی تھی۔ برطانوی مؤرخین جیسے ماؤنٹ اسٹورٹ الفنسٹن بھی تصدیق کرتے ہیں کہ نصف صدی تک پنجاب افغان درّانی سلاطین کے زیرِ اثر رہا۔ لہٰذا اگر تم چاہو تو ہم کوئی خاص افغانی برگر یا کابلی پلاو ساتھ کھا سکتے ہیں، صرف تمہارے لیے۔

Afghans (especially girls & children) are being deported thrown back to the land of terrorists like chickens loaded into trucks, dumped at borders, treated like a disease to be gotten rid of.

My heart is torn apart cuz I witness & listen to their stories every other day, & can’t do ANYTHING about it. So what’s the point of screaming on X about it? It changes nothing.
And then, to make it worse, I see Paki qoam parading their fake unity&plastic human rights. it makes me want to spit.

My aunt tells me that she’s fought against the erasure of her existence her whole life.

My grandfather stopped her from attending high school at 15. Her dream was to be a painter. She was married off at 17. The Taliban barred her daughters from attending school in 1996. In Pakistan, she was not allowed to work as a refugee. She kept a small pack of watercolour pens in her suitcase for decades.

She is 69 now. Her biggest regret is not pushing back. She tells me I must, and every Afghan girl must do the same. “Fight back. Fight with your mind, with all your might.”
