The death of medical postgraduate student Dr. Priyanka in Rajahmundry has deeply disturbed me. Her parents made many sacrifices and went through immense hardship to educate Priyanka and make her a doctor. They were also supporting her MD studies. It is extremely painful that those parents have now been denied the happiness of seeing their daughter become successful and serve many people as a doctor. At this difficult time, I pray that God gives the family strength and courage, and I extend my heartfelt condolences to them.

The way in which the government machinery and the police system failed in Dr. Priyanka’s case has once again been exposed. On one side, we are seeing the government misuse power against the Opposition, against those who question it and against those who point out its failures—using the Red Book Constitution, taking the law into its own hands, violating constitutional principles and misusing authority without restraint. On the other side, when cases involving ordinary citizens come before them, the government and the police are failing miserably to act according to law. This is deeply unfortunate.

The incident took place on the night of August 3, right outside the gate of a shopping mall. Even though it was known that those involved had consumed alcohol, the police, instead of immediately checking the CCTV footage and registering cases based on the seriousness of the incident, treated it as a simple accident case, let those responsible go and closed the matter. This is extremely disturbing.

The CCTV footage clearly shows that they not only hit the scooter on which Dr. Priyanka was travelling with their car, but also behaved inhumanely afterwards and drove the car over her. When such visuals are clearly available, there must be a full investigation into why the police acted with such negligence. The government and the police must answer the anguish expressed by Dr. Priyanka’s father.

The root cause of all this is the manner in which Chandrababu garu is using the police machinery for political harassment and vendetta, showing what is not there as if it exists, suppressing what actually exists, filing false cases and targeting political opponents. Another reason is the way Chandrababu has turned himself into a brand ambassador for liquor and ganja, with belt shops on every other street, liquor shops at every kilometre, and bars and restaurants everywhere, without sparing temples, schools or beaches.

When people raise questions on social media about the failures in Dr. Priyanka’s case, instead of answering them, Chandrababu garu and his government are getting that content removed through the police within minutes.

@ncbn garu should at least now realise that by bringing political vendetta, bias and the question of “Which party do you belong to?” into institutions that are supposed to treat every citizen equally, the very foundations of those institutions are being weakened and pushed towards collapse.

చంద్రబాబుగారూ… నేను సూటిగా అడుగుతున్నాను. ఆలూరు బీసీ ఎమ్మెల్యే విరూపాక్షి ఏమైనా ఉగ్రవాదా? ప్రజల చేత ఎన్నుకోబడిన ఒక ఎమ్మెల్యే ఇంటిపై అర్ధరాత్రి 2.45 గంటలకు భారీ పోలీసు బలగాలతో దాడి చేయాల్సిన అవసరం ఏమొచ్చింది? ఇంటి తలుపులు బద్దలుకొట్టి, ఎమ్మెల్యే విరూపాక్షిని, ఆయన కుమారుడు చంద్రశేఖర్‌ను అరెస్టు చేసిన తీరు చూస్తే రాష్ట్రంలో అసలు రూల్‌ ఆఫ్‌ లా అనేది ఉందా? అని అనిపిస్తోంది.

చిప్పగిరి మండలం నేమకళ్లులో వైయస్సార్‌సీపీ నాయకుడి ఇంటిపై టీడీపీవాళ్లు దాడిచేస్తే, తన ప్రాణాలకు ప్రమాదం ఉందని, తన కుటుంబాన్ని కాపాడాలని ఆ నాయకుడు ఎమ్మెల్యే విరూపాక్షికి కాల్‌చేశాడు. ఒక కార్యకర్త ప్రాణభయంతో సహాయం కోరితే స్పందించడం ఎమ్మెల్యే చేసిన నేరమా? బాధిత కుటుంబానికి అండగా నిలబడటం తప్పా? చివరకు పరామర్శించేందుకు వెళ్లిన విరూపాక్షిపైనే టీడీపీ శ్రేణులు రాళ్లతో దాడి చేశాయి. ఆ దాడిలో ఆయన సోదరుడు శ్రీరాముడు గాయపడ్డారు. నిజంగా చట్టం పనిచేస్తే ఎవరిని అరెస్టు చేయాలి? దాడి చేసినవారిని అరెస్టు చేయాలా? దాడికి గురైన ఎమ్మెల్యేను అరెస్టు చేయాలా? కానీ ఈ ప్రభుత్వంలో దాడి చేసినవారికి రక్షణ లభిస్తోంది. దాడికి గురైన ఎమ్మెల్యేనే నిందితుడిగా మార్చి ఆయనపైన, కార్యకర్తలపైన హత్యాయత్నం కేసులు బనాయిస్తున్నారు.

ఎమ్మెల్యే ఇంట్లోని సీసీటీవీ హార్డ్‌డిస్కులను పోలీసులు ఎందుకు తీసుకెళ్లారు? అర్ధరాత్రి పోలీసులు చేసిన దౌర్జన్యానికి సంబంధించిన దృశ్యాలు బయటకు వస్తాయనే భయమా? తలుపులు ఎలా బద్దలుకొట్టారో… కుటుంబ సభ్యులను ఎలా భయపెట్టారో… ఎమ్మెల్యేను ఎలా అరెస్టు చేశారో… ప్రజలకు తెలియకూడదనే హార్డ్‌డిస్కులను తీసుకెళ్లారా? చంద్రబాబుగారూ… సాక్ష్యాలను కాపాడాల్సిన పోలీసులతోనే సాక్ష్యాలను మాయం చేయించే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తున్నారా?

శ్రీకాకుళం జిల్లాలోనూ ఇదేరకంగా అరాచకం చేస్తున్నారు. ఒక రోడ్డు ప్రమాదాన్ని రాజకీయ కక్షతో హత్య కేసుగా మార్చారు. మాజీ మంత్రి సీదిరి అప్పలరాజును అరెస్టు చేశారు. ఆయన కుటుంబాన్ని పరామర్శించేందుకు నేను వెళ్లినప్పుడు సంఘీభావంగా లక్షలాదిగా ప్రజలు తరలివచ్చారు. ఆ ప్రజాస్పందనను చూసి మీ ప్రభుత్వం భయపడింది. ఆ భయంతోనే ఒక వీడియో క్లిప్‌ను వక్రీకరించారు. చింతాడ రవికుమార్‌పై తీవ్రమైన సెక్షన్లతో కేసులు పెట్టారు. అనేకమంది నాయకులపై అక్రమ కేసులు నమోదు చేశారు. నాయకులు ప్రజల మధ్యకు వెళ్తే కేసులు. ప్రజలు నాయకులను కలిస్తే కేసులు. ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ప్రశ్నిస్తే కేసులు. ప్రతిపక్షానికి మద్దతు పలికితే కేసులు. ఇది ప్రజాస్వామ్యమా? లేక మీ పోలీసు రాజ్యమా? లేక జంగిల్ రాజ్యమా?

గుంటూరు ఈస్ట్‌ మాజీ ఎమ్మెల్యే షేక్‌ మొహ్మద్‌ ముస్తఫా, ఆయన కుమారుడిపైనా ఇదే రాజకీయ కక్షసాధింపు కొనసాగుతోంది. ఒక వ్యాపార వివాదంలో సంబంధిత వ్యక్తిని, లారీలను పోలీస్‌ స్టేషన్‌కు అప్పగించినప్పటికీ… తిరిగి ముస్తఫాపైనే కిడ్నాప్‌ కేసు పెట్టారు. పోలీసులకు అప్పగించిన వ్యక్తిని కిడ్నాప్‌ చేశారని కేసు పెట్టడం ఎక్కడి న్యాయం? కేవలం వైయస్సార్‌సీపీ నాయకుడని కేసు పెడతారా?

రాష్ట్రంలోని ‌Gen-Z తరం ఇవాళ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని గట్టిగా ప్రశ్నిస్తూ పోరాటాలు చేస్తోంది. డీఎస్సీ–2025 అక్రమాలపై సీబీఐ విచారణ ఎందుకు జరపడం లేదు? అక్రమాలకు బాధ్యత వహిస్తూ విద్యాశాఖ మంత్రి లోకేష్‌ ఎందుకు రాజీనామా చేయడం లేదు? విద్యార్థులకు చెల్లించాల్సిన రూ.9,500 కోట్ల విద్యాదీవెన, వసతిదీవెన బకాయిలు ఎందుకు చెల్లించడం లేదు? నెలకు రూ.3 వేల నిరుద్యోగ భృతి ఇస్తామని చెప్పి ఎందుకు మోసం చేశారు? మూడేళ్లకు ఒక్కో నిరుద్యోగికి బకాయిపడ్డ రూ.1.08 లక్షలు ఎప్పుడు చెల్లిస్తారు? అని. కాని, ఈ ప్రశ్నలకు మీ దగ్గర మీ తనయుడు లోకేష్ దగ్గర సమాధానం లేదు. అందుకే ప్రజల దృష్టిని మళ్లించేందుకు అక్రమ కేసులు పెడుతున్నారు. అర్ధరాత్రి అరెస్టులు చేస్తున్నారు. పోలీసు దౌర్జన్యాలకు పాల్పడుతున్నారు.

చంద్రబాబుగారూ… గుర్తుపెట్టుకోండి. అధికారం శాశ్వతం కాదు. పోలీసు బలం శాశ్వతం కాదు. అక్రమ కేసులు శాశ్వతం కాదు. ఎన్ని కేసులు పెట్టినా… ఎన్ని అర్ధరాత్రి అరెస్టులు చేసినా… ఎన్ని తలుపులు బద్దలుకొట్టినా… ఎన్ని పోలీసు బలగాలను దించినా… వైయస్సార్‌ కాంగ్రెస్‌ పార్టీ వెనక్కి తగ్గదు. బాధితులకు అండగా నిలుస్తాం. అన్యాయాన్ని నిలదీస్తాం. అరాచక పాలనపై పోరాడుతాం. మీరు అరెస్టులు చేయగలరేమో కానీ కార్యకర్తల గుండెల్లో ఉన్న ధైర్యాన్ని బద్దలుకొట్టలేరు. ప్రజల వేస్తున్న ప్రశ్నలనూ ఆపలేరు.
