Yes, the majority view prevails when the Commissioners differ on a matter before the Commission. But that is precisely why the reported objections matter: the question is whether certain matters were actually placed before the full Commission and decided through the prescribed process. The ECI says its final decisions, including SIR, were unanimous. At the same time, multiple BLO deaths during SIR have been reported across states, with families or colleagues in some cases attributing them to workload and pressure. These concerns deserve scrutiny, not dismissal as mere “internal differences.”

Hello Rapido, is this how your drivers behave? I had booked a ride from RedHills to Royapettah and the fare showed was 460 Rs., driver called and first asked 600 Rs., so we told him we won't pay extra. He then told to cancel the ride and he said he will not cancel. He also threatened my uncle if we don't cancel we will not be able to book any future rides from Rapido. How is this behaviour acceptable? I want your riders to be humbled for the safety of the customers. I want a resolution for this as well.

Four months—and already a sweeping verdict?

Vijay’s TVK government has, within its first 100+ days, introduced 200 units of free electricity for eligible households, created the Singappen women’s safety force, expanded anti-narcotics units to 65, shut 717 TASMAC outlets near educational institutions and places of worship, expanded the breakfast scheme, announced major farmer loan relief, launched youth skill initiatives, pushed faceless property registration and attracted investment commitments running into ₹1 lakh crore.

These decisions can—and should—be scrutinised. Their implementation and long-term results must be measured. But calling an entire government “cult rule, not governance” after barely four months is an opinion, not an established fact.

Give the government enough time to govern. Judge it on measurable outcomes, not premature labels.

@jagoinvestor_ Now merchants will not accept upi payments, instead they will ask to pay by cash or pay Rs. 5020 upi. This will create unnecessary argument between merchants and customers. Nice, this is what our beloved government wanted and that's what will happen. Enjoy everyone! 😀

Is this how an Army Ex-Serviceman is expected to be treated?

My uncle, an Army Ex-Serviceman, residing at Melepoondi Thakka, Thiyagadurgam, Tamil Nadu, has been struggling with a dangerously damaged electricity meter. The meter terminals/wiring are visibly burnt/damaged, causing frequent power interruptions and posing a serious safety risk as shown in the images.

He paid ₹2,056 to TANGEDCO on 04-03-2026 towards material/meter charges, testing fees and other charges. Service No: 02-523-010-491 | Receipt No: 0643351.

More than 6 months have passed, and the meter has STILL not been replaced.
Every time my uncle approaches the electricity office, he is given the same response: “New meters are not available. If the current meter is still running why are you coming here again and again.”

My questions are simple:
1. If a new meter was not available, why was the amount collected for the replacement?
2. How can a basic electricity meter remain “unavailable” for more than SIX MONTHS?
3. Why is an elderly Army Ex-Serviceman being made to repeatedly visit the office for a service he has already paid for?

The attached photographs clearly show the condition of the meter and wiring. This is not just an inconvenience — it is a potential electrical safety hazard.
@CMOTamilnadu @TNDIPRNEWS, please intervene and direct the concerned TANGEDCO officials to replace the meter immediately and resolve this long-pending issue.

Payment was collected 6 months ago. The service is still pending. Safety cannot be put on hold.

This post feels like you have got scared by few posts from "different" handles. First you do such things and then tell "different" handles are trying to scare the youths. Unlike, you are actually trying to scare the youths and fear them. But don't worry youths of this country has now woke up and they know what to do and whom to vote in 2029. I feel Amit Malvia as a BJP IT Cell head was far better. You have started showing true colours to the youths of this country. All this will definitely backfire and will give more chance to the opposition. Keep it up! 😄
