Day 10 of DSA in C++.
No 10 hour tutorials.
Here's what I'm doing instead:
~ Basics first, then straight to problems
~ 1 problem every day
~ Pseudocode before code
~ 30 mins of struggle before peeking at the solution
Pseudocode is the step most people skip.
Once the logic is clear, the C++ syntax is the easy part.
What's harder at the start: C++ syntax or problem solving logic? 👇

@karsenswins Definitely picking option 2 😂 Cold weather is basically an excuse to lock in and build. Already connected, but always good seeing other builders staying consistent. What are you working on today?
@lucas_builds I’m active here every day and always down for real conversations, not just likes and follows. I’m building an AI startup from Pakistan, so I’d love to be part of the circle. Count me in 🤝
@pelloiafilippo Good morning! Definitely feels like X is changing, and adapting instead of overthinking it is probably the best move. I’m also building in public, so always happy to connect with fellow builders. What strategy are you testing today?
@giutheginger 20, based in Pakistan, building an AI startup around AI/ML and automation. Always happy to connect with other builders, done from my side 🤝
@tatsunori_ono@join_ef 20, based in Pakistan, building an AI startup and exploring AI/ML + automation. Always up for connecting with founders and builders. Done from my side 🤝
@webdevankit 50% is solid progress! I’m building and learning around AI/ML too, and honestly I don’t even know when my own project will be fully done 😂. What are you planning to build next once this one is finished?
RAM size isn’t the whole story. Apple controls the hardware and software together, so memory management and the overall architecture can make 16GB feel faster than 32GB on a poorly optimized Windows machine. The real comparison is more about the whole system than just RAM. Would you say the biggest factor is optimization or Apple’s memory architecture?
@RIZQIoep@X Consistency really does compound, especially when you’re building something from scratch. I’m building a startup too, and the hardest part is staying on track when progress feels slow. What are you building?
@SidharthVijay_ MongoDB is definitely fast and flexible, but I’d still pick PostgreSQL for a lot of real-world apps. The query power and relational features are hard to ignore. What would you pick if the priority was scalability + complex queries?
@JodylGonsalves Congrats on 1K! It’s always crazy seeing how a small audience turns into a real community over time. What’s been the biggest lesson from the journey so far?
@rajgupta7813589 I’m an Arch Linux user, so I’d say the best thing is to start getting comfortable with the terminal instead of relying on the GUI for everything. Since you’re on Kali, are you using it mainly for cybersecurity or just exploring Linux?
For 6 months, I thought I was learning to code.
I wasn’t.
I watched tutorials, copied code, and ran to ChatGPT whenever I got stuck.
6 months later, I still couldn’t solve problems on my own.
Then I watched my teacher.
He read docs, books, and struggled with problems.
So I started doing the same.
Now I write the problem down, make a flowchart, read the docs, and debug myself.
Sometimes it takes an hour.
But that struggle is building my logic.
Now I’m learning C++ the same way.
Less tutorials.
More thinking.

@tirthaexe Haha bro, still figuring it out 😂 Got a few things cooking behind the scenes. Let’s connect and maybe build something together if you’re up for it. 🤝
Nobody sees the 14 hours.
They see the launch.
They see the product.
They see the results.
And somehow, it becomes an “overnight success.”
But most of the real progress happens when nobody is watching.
Late nights.
Small wins.
A lot of doubt.
Then you wake up and do it again.
Still building.
If you're building something too, let's connect.
