@Iromg I have no doubt people will condemn your position, without ever bothering to check the context. This is a case of a person who is on remand already and who has already breached his conditions. Context is very important here
@AnnaJerzewska@EmporersNewC That ship has long sailed. Assembly lines of compliant consumer drones. And we like it that way. Of course, nobody in their right mind will admit to it... But yeah, indefinite pessimism...
@paulocoelho And to think that I used to respect you. Unbelievable! Do you intentionally ignore the hate from common Russians? Those of us who lived in Soviet Union know very well how entire population can be brainwashed to support a war. It's not an excuse though. It's a choice.
FM #Lavrov: The goal of Russia’s special military operation is to stop any war that could take place on Ukrainian territory or that could start from there.
@GregSE_Germany@annettedittert We have a process. It is 300+ years old. On balance, it has worked for us fairly well over the years, w/ some changes of course. We elect MPs who get a term in office. We then decide whether to keep them at the end of the term. Change & acceptance take time. And it's a good thing
@davidmu93287014@georgegalloway You are missing the fact that George gone full red and there is an apparent wholesale genocide being carried out by the Ukrainian mob/gov which only Russians can see (OSINT of course is blind) and it is so special it doesn't appear on satellites.
@berlynn81@EthicalSystems If the company's core values include suppression of views and opinions, that would be best. Politics is part of being human - not sure it is "best" to suppress an aspect of humanity as a matter of policy.
@EthicalSystems Really insightful report. It's not surprising though that most of us choose to keep shtum, when, for example, an attempt to use data to shine light on racism causes such a backlash (Sewell Report). Actual meaningful exchange of opposing views has now become dangerous Tow the line
We seem to be getting closer and closer to a situation where nobody is responsible for what they did but we are all responsible for what somebody else did.
I like data. Things you can measure, over time. Allows us to judge progress, challenges assumptions. "Lived experience" is not data. We used to have a different phrase for it - "anecdotal evidence". Now, we are supposed to ditch hard data in favour of stories. Crazy #SewellReport
