After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.

I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.

It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.

🚨 JUST IN - BIDEN CONSIDERS SANCTION AGAINST SETTLERS

Biden says that the U.S. is prepared to impose sanctions on Israeli settlers who are involved in attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank.

Biden:
"The United States is prepared to take our own steps, including issuing visa bans against extremists attacking civilians in the West Bank."

This would be the first time the U.S. publicly considered individual sanctions against settlers.

Biden also talked about the future of Gaza and said it should be unified with the Westbank and led by a revised Palestinian Authority.
