The mandate, we will re-elect. The mission remains clear: to consolidate progress, sustain reforms and secure a brighter future. Come 2027, we will renew the mandate and return President Tinubu to office for a second term.
Eight years ago, I lost access to this account and thought I might never get it back.
After months of work, the team at https://t.co/MvdGo5rDKg, @ANTIBANpro_ made it happen.
I’m back. Thank you for your patience, determination and support. It feels good to be here again. 🙏🏾
Today, I must sincerely commend the father of the nation, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for approving the new salary structure for personnel of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
This historic intervention reflects His Excellency’s commitment to the welfare, wellbeing, and operational readiness of our brave officers, soldiers, ratings, and airmen who continue to make immense sacrifices in defence of our nation's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
By prioritizing the welfare of our troops, the Commander-in-Chief has further strengthened the foundation for a more motivated, disciplined, and combat-ready Armed Forces. This bold decision will undoubtedly enhance morale, reinforce professionalism, and inspire greater dedication to the constitutional responsibility of defending Nigeria and protecting the lives and property of our citizens.
I equally urge the Chief of Defence Staff, the Service Chiefs, commanders at all levels, and all personnel of the Armed Forces to reciprocate this confidence through renewed commitment, loyalty, discipline, and excellence in service to our dear nation.
Together, we will continue to build a stronger, more resilient, and more secure Nigeria.
This is what you call impact. Whilst Prof. Charles Soludo was having a go at this insecurity challenge, Peter Obi was cozying up to it by refusing to even acknowledge it for what it is.
He will become President when Rufai Oseni makes him president of his jeun jeun NGO.
To every Team Nigeria athlete who represented our great nation at the #Glasgow2026 Commonwealth Games, I say thank you. 🇳🇬 To our Gold, Silver and Bronze medallists across Para Powerlifting, Weightlifting, Athletics and Team events, your exceptional performances, resilience and commitment to excellence have made Nigeria proud. Whether you achieved victory as an individual or as part of a team, you demonstrated the strength, unity and determination that define the Nigerian spirit.
To every athlete who competed and did not make the podium, please know that your efforts were equally valued. Your sacrifices, discipline, courage and dedication to wearing the Green and White with pride inspired millions of Nigerians. Every race, every lift, every throw and every moment of competition contributed to this remarkable journey. I am immensely proud of each and every one of you. Thank you for proving that the Nigerian spirit can never be broken. 🇳🇬💚
Inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi Raaji'un!
I convey our heartfelt condolences to the family, relatives, associates, colleagues, and the entire Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria community, following the passing of Dr Sani Umar Bebeji, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Law.
Dr Bebeji, a distinguished legal scholar and administrator, reportedly passed away on Saturday. His death has left colleagues, students, alumni, and the wider university community in profound grief.
Dr. Sani Umar Bebeji served as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and also as Assistant Dean, Undergraduate. He was an accomplished scholar, researcher, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) specialist whose passion for teaching and mentoring transformed the lives of countless students at ABU and beyond.
Though I did not have the privilege of meeting him personally, I was told by one of his students, who is very close and dear to me, about the kind of man he was. He was described as a mentor who believed in his students, challenged them to exceed their expectations, celebrated their successes, and stood by them in moments of disappointment. His patience, humility, and unwavering commitment to raising the next generation of lawyers left an indelible mark on all who were privileged to learn from him.
His legacy lives on in the many lives he shaped, the lawyers he trained, and the values he instilled.
News of his passing came as a shock to many, especially as he was reportedly active on his Facebook account shortly before the news broke.
The same student also attested that throughout his career, Dr Bebeji was known for his dedication to teaching, mentorship, and service to the Faculty of Law and to Ahmadu Bello University. His contributions to legal education and student development earned him the respect of colleagues and of generations of students. She further attested to his moral discipline, generosity, kindness to all students, and strong academic credentials.
His death is a significant loss to the university community, to the legal profession, and to Nigeria. May Almighty Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, expand his grave, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and give his loved ones the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.

Seagulls,
This club very quickly became my home when I came here six years ago. Since then I’ve always tried to play with the same passion, support and love you showed me the minute I stepped through the door.
The journey we’ve had together is one that will bond me to this club forever.
Goals, moments and celebrations are all things I’ll look back on with pride at Brighton, but what will stick forever is the support you gave me, my family and friends, on and off the pitch.
Thank you for everything Seagulls. Up the Albion 👊🏿
