@zammo1111@DBDesRoches@tparsi@GCCSG Your claim is that all “indicators” point to the US fighting this war on behalf of the GCC? Is this a serious argument?
@zammo1111@DBDesRoches@tparsi@GCCSG Allegation is made by Trump, are you gonna believe him? Dave mentioned civilian targets, adding to them desalination plants, refineries, office buildings, and residence in Kuwait. Kuwait doesn’t have relationship with Israel, and Emir signaled neutrality. Still legitimate target?
@bnzchr@teortaxesTex@CyberPunkCortes American presence in Kuwait started in 1991, after the Iraqi invasion, and the cooperation with the US increased after Iranian threats through its proxies, terrorist attacks, and renewed fear of invasion. These are the reasons the bases existed, not because of this new war.
@DeeeKud@Parth824871@teortaxesTex@CyberPunkCortes 3- The video for the border crossing doesn’t show if the attacks are landing on the Iranian or the Iraqi side (fyi, Iraqi militant groups have been launching attacks on Kuwait)
4- No coordinates were given for the satellite images or any location information to verify
@bnzchr@teortaxesTex@CyberPunkCortes You are either disingenuous or ignorant about the region. Everyone knew the war was coming, Iran would close the strait, and attack GCC countries. The bases are good excuse, but they are not the reason. The reasons for its actions are many, most of which are non-military reasons.
@bnzchr@teortaxesTex@CyberPunkCortes you seem to not know the history of the Iranian aggression and threats on the region and Kuwait specifically, nor from their proxies.
It is defensive against this exact sort of attacks that Iran launched which would have happened with or without the bases, like in 1981.
@bnzchr@teortaxesTex@CyberPunkCortes And add to it, its higher focus on Kuwaiti civilian infrastructure (office buildings, electricity, desalination, refineries) while ignoring the same in Israel and Azerbijan, which supplies Israel with oil and intelligence.
@bnzchr@teortaxesTex@CyberPunkCortes You have failed thus far in proving the active participation of Kuwait in this war that warrants getting attacked. They have the right to self defense, against their rightful enemies, not us.
@bnzchr@teortaxesTex@CyberPunkCortes They are supposed to attack the ones actually attacking them, i.e. Israel and the US. So far Iran has focused its attacks more on the GCC rather than Israel.
Also, nobody complained about attacking military bases.
@bnzchr@teortaxesTex@CyberPunkCortes Your own reporting shows its defensive build up (i.e. air defense systems), not offensive. That doesn’t make Kuwait “active participant”.
What does them striking “mere bystanders” like Iraq and Oman show you? As if Iraq isn’t already participating on the side of Iran.
