A man wakes up in his car, unaware of how he got there...
Shaken by his loss of memory, he drives home,
not knowing that in 24 hours he will be in jail,
arrested for the kidnapping and murder of a missing college student.
Though a mountain of evidence points to his guilt, this man, Julian Gutierrez, maintains his innocence.
He is sentenced to Death Row,
set to be executed for a crime he knows he did not commit, yet having no way of escaping his deadly and unjust fate.
That is, until the day a postcard arrives.
It claims to be from a witness that knows he is innocent.
It is now up to Julian's sister and her husband to find out the truth before his time runs out.
What they uncover is a mystery bigger than any of them could possibly imagine.
And in the shadows is a foe, calling himself
The Fulcrum
waiting for the day that someone comes knocking,
knocking at the door of the
mousetrap he has constructed.

An ICE agent shot and killed a 26-year-old man in Maine today.
This comes just days after ICE shot and killed Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Texas.

Gavin Newsom blames the State of California — of which he is the Governor — for his housing crisis:
NEWSOM: “We designed a system, a machine, over the last half century to make it more difficult to build. It was intentionally designed...not to build."
He puts it in broad terms like this to avoid the real problem: the cost of building. It’s not “the system” per se, for which he is the ultimate ceo, it’s the rampant overspending of money that doesn’t go back into the state. It’s siphoned out by a select few and the value of money goes down, making everything more expensive. The end goal of putting tax dollars towards public goods is to create a more efficient and productive economy from which we all benefit. That hasn’t happened.

@JoshuaLisec “Of course I love this country, I simply want to change it fundamentally and invite multitudes of people who will make it unrecognizable to its founders.”

.@SecDuffy: "Not only did he not speak English. When he took the test to get his [CDL], he took it in English and allegedly 'passed.' So this reeks of fraud, and we are now digging in to figure out where he went to school, who gave him the test, how did they pass him."
