Junaid, who was distributing food to protestors at Jantar Mantar, was allegedly picked up by Delhi Police on the night of 24 July. He was kept blindfolded throughout the night. The next morning, an officer questioned him about the source of his funding and how he was managing to distribute so much food. After the interrogation, the police left him in Mussoorie (Uttarakhand) and departed. From there, Junaid took a cab and returned to Delhi on 25 July.

जंतर मंतर पर छात्रों को खाना बांटने वाले जुनैद को 24 जुलाई की रात दिल्ली पुलिस उठाकर उत्तराखंड ले गई। पूरी रात आंखों पर पट्टी बांधकर रखा। अगली सुबह एक अधिकारी ने जुनैद से पूछा कि फंडिंग कहां से आती है? इतना खाना कैसे बांट रहे हो? पूछताछ करके वे जुनैद को मसूरी (उत्तराखंड) में छोड़कर चले गए। वहां से कैब करके जुनैद 25 जुलाई को वापस दिल्ली आए।

Cockroach Janta Party withdraws its nationwide agitation with immediate effect

All demands of the Cockroach Janta Party have been accepted by the government:

1. Maximum possible compensation for families of NEET paper leak-related suicides

2. All FIRs by Central govt and NDA-ruled states will be withdrawn, and no action will be taken against anyone involved in these protests in the future.

3. CJP’s 5-point exam reform charter will be considered by the govt and the CJP will meet with the govt to discuss these reforms further.
