@iamPeterRosso I wish I had thought about this before starting my PhD. I made the common mistake of assuming that the skills that enabled me to succeed during my BSc would be the same needed to thrive during my PhD. Handling open-ended problems and uncertainty were completely new to me.
Thank you for emphasizing this. Every time I try some productivity trick that everyone is raving about and it doesn't work for me I feel like it's somehow my fault. Turns out not all people work the same way.
@1Password I have changed my password and it works on the website but not on the Mac or chrome extension. I have tried reinstalling everything multiple times but still nothing. Any ideas?
The default path is the path people feel most comfortable with because it is a path followed by many but questioned by few. That is how people end up drifting, i.e. taking the next obvious step regardless of whether it's the right thing for them or not.
