@LeulA4 “There is a massive campaign against our collective memories, our historical land marks and cultural identities-the destruction is directed straight at our body and soul.” No lies told here. 😞
The #AmharaGenocide strikes at the heart of our shared humanity. If anyone is listening!
In a recent discussion with a friend from Ghana, we recalled moments from history where the #Amhara people consistently transcended political tensions to support other ethnic groups, demonstrating a collective spirit by declaring, "Oromo blood is my blood," despite any accusations leveled against us.
What deeply concerns me is the stark absence of support and a resounding silence in the face of the #Amhara people enduring a genocidal conflict. Despite our historical legacy of unwavering solidarity, the current crisis lacks the unified action necessary to support our community during these distressing times.
The resilience of the #AmharaFano in upholding their integrity amid the challenges of violent hegemony remains largely unnoticed and unsupported.
This contrast leads to a critical question: where is the “Ethiopian’s”outcry and unified support when the #Amhara people face such heinous crimes against humanity? The echoing silence in response to our plight reflects emptiness in the historical narrative.
It's time to stand against the #AmharaGenocide #WarOnAmhara
