🇲🇽 A threat actor is advertising an alleged database leak affecting Educación Continua – Marca UNACH (Universidad Autónoma de Chiapas, Mexico).
According to the post, the exposed data includes:
* 50+ database tables
* 190+ active session tokens
* Administrator account with bcrypt password hash
* Contact form submissions (names, email addresses, messages)
* Joomla configuration files
* Database credentials
* SMTP configuration details
The post also claims to include administrator account information and backend credentials. At the time of writing, these claims have not been independently verified.
Analyst Note: Exposed session tokens, application credentials, and configuration files present a significantly greater risk than leaked user records alone. If authentic, they could enable unauthorized access, privilege escalation, and further compromise of institutional systems.

Thought for the day:
Infosec is nothing like the books and accreditations that most companies state you must have.
In the real world you’re dealing with;
legacy OS’s and apps that can’t be patched or rebooted.
Support providers who do the bare minimum to keep the lights on.
Office politics and red tape with too many opinions on what can and can’t be done.
Ego’s.
Lack of funds.
Lack of skillset.
Lack of forward thinking…. Oh we’ve always done it that way.
Reluctance to change.
Poor Endpoint security.
Lack of auditing capabilities.
Lack of communication with security teams so control measures are skipped during project rollouts.
Poor account hygiene.
No MFA
Too many admins.
Poor change control management.
Slow reaction to incidents.
The list goes on, but you get the idea. I wouldn’t want to work in any other industry, but you’re gonna get frustrated, stressed, burnt out and feel like nothing’s getting better. It does, but take note of the small wins.
Be careful folks. I left my laptop in the passenger seat with ServiceNow open and when the thief saw my ticket queue they dropped the laptop and ran off.
Al parecer el grupo de ransomware Stormous (Pro-Rusia), es el responsable del incidente en Coca Cola FEMSA
Este mismo grupo es el responsable del ataque a Epic Games
Introverts talk. And they talk a lot. But only when they have something meaningful to say. They have no interest in impressing people. Winning approvals. Or seeking validation. They don't want to show off, they want to add depth to the conversation. Explore. Enlighten. And grow.
Introverts love solitude. Being with their own thoughts. They don't "need" people. They prefer studying them from a distance. They derive pleasure from observation, not indulgence. Learning behaviors, patterns, reactions. Expanding their consciousness. That's their happiness.
