@LeaderStance I liked the section on facilitating meetings. I've been in too many meetings that could have been an email or that were mostly about scheduling more meetings. I thought that section provided some helpful information on making meetings productive.
@_a_mandolin@LeaderStance@The_NAYC When I worked in CASNR, sometimes I would give presentations on majors in the School of Natural Resources for NAYC during the summer. They were always a great group!
@LeaderStance I like jigsaw as a cooperative learning tool. Students are grouped together, & each group becomes an “expert” on a different topic. Then students are sorted into new groups with 1 expert per topic. It gives everyone a chance to excel at a topic and promotes cooperative learning.
@LeaderStance I think the norming stage is the most important. Our textbook states that groups become cohesive in the norming and cohesion is an important factor in performance and success.
@LeaderStance I'm looking forward to learning more about the impact of group conflict on goal achievement. It would be great to learn more about LMX as a factor in group and team success. Looking forward to a great semester!
