"We cannot allow non-state actors take over a country which used to have a military that kept peace all over the world from Europe to Liberia and Sudan.
"We need to elect people who have the capacity, compassion, and commitment to tackle these issues."

Today, he is an ambassador without a base and says publicity for abducted children is the "oxygen of terrorism."
A man without a moral anchor
Rufai Oseni: “You keep criticizing President Tinubu over the removal of fuel subsidy. What would you have done differently?”
Mr Peter Obi: “I didn't criticize Tinubu for removing the subsidy. I said I would have removed it, but in an organized manner. I wouldn't have announced it at my inauguration. I would have first sat down with operators in the industry because we know there is a lot of crim!nality around the subsidy.
I would remove it to determine the exact amount being spent on subsidy and also address the issue of exchange rate deregulation. But in doing these things, the most important thing is to fight corruption head-on. Since the subsidy was removed, what has been the impact on the average Nigerian? We have even borrowed more money than we used to when subsidy was still in place.”

Dear beloved sports-loving Nigerian youths,
After watching the performances of Davido, Burna Boy, and Rema at the opening of the 2026 World Cup—at a time when Nigeria, the giant of Africa, is absent—I felt a measure of consolation. This was reinforced by the fact that many Nigerians playing for clubs worldwide are representing other countries. Felix Nmecha, for instance, set a record by scoring the fastest goal at six minutes for Germany. I write to you therefore, knowing that this country belongs to you, the youth.
You are more of stakeholders in Nigeria’s future than I am. I am 64 years old; by God’s grace, much of my journey is behind me, while yours lies ahead.
It is therefore imperative that you rise to the challenge by obtaining your PVC, your most powerful tool for driving the change you desire.
In the last three years alone, over 15 million Nigerians have turned 18—enough to decide who becomes President, Governor, Senator, Member of the House, or Local Government Chairman. Indeed, enough to shape the nation’s future.
I know many of you are sceptical about politics and political parties. I understand why, but scepticism must not become surrender.
You do not need to belong to any party or wait for anyone to organise you. Organise yourselves in your streets, campuses, communities, workplaces, churches, mosques, and social groups. Mobilise, debate, demand accountability, and take part in choosing those you wish to entrust with leadership.
If you are organised and wish to hear directly from me, invite me. I will come and share my plans for you and our nation.
Do not sit on the sidelines while others decide your future.
I appeal to you to register and vote. Your vote can shape who becomes the next President of our country.
My young friends, this is your country. Take it back.

Bandits went live and asked Nigerians to send azas for give aways.
They used banking apps to send money to those who sent accounts. No arrests made.
A responsible citizen made a video of the cracks on Coastal road and within days he was arrested.
If you ever come here to tell me only God can solve our insecurity problems Ogun will kpai you.

Fellow Nigerians, aren't we tired of adjusting to everything that should have been fixed by the government.
Cooking gas is above N2,000/kg and Nigerians have adjusted.
The change will not come until we get angry enough, stop adjusting, and demand accountability from the government.

It’s genuinely hard to find someone in high political office who is as stupid and insensitive as this man.
And I say this with a lot of respect.
