@curious_founder To be fair, it's worth mentioning how the efficiency of this power plant will compare with alternate sources of 7GW. AI needs are happening regardless, so we should applaud those doing it responsibly. Do you have any insight @grok?
@beffjezos Most entrepreneurs can't actually build from first principles. It's hard enough as is, let alone starting the stack from the bottom. Elon just keeps leveling up ๐
@firstadopter Burry has a phenomenal track record of misjudging technology. I loved his biopic in the Big Short, but perhaps he should stick to real estate and avoid the innovation industries. His LPs would certainly appreciate it
@BrandonMChu@joshfgray_ I find being able to format the data and visualize it the way you want is incredible. Calculate options tables as well as margin call thresholds is a total game changer. I have never felt more in-tune with my financial situation (for better or worse ๐) than I do now
@1444_kris Bizarro take. 1) Existing shareholders is mostly Elon and employees. 2) if the valuation was too high, the IPO would have priced differently. It's going to be volatile so get in for the ride, but dispense with the hysterics
@BraedendotTECH What do you think will happen with the response time drops to seconds? I'm finding Grok is so fast that I rarely open a second terminal window
FWIW, I don't fully buy this argument. Two key vectors that don't fit: 1) AI opens up completely different distribution, so allows first principles rethinking of a lot of businesses. 2) Robotics may be the real unlock for this segment, not just AI software. Healthcare is a great example; low margin, lots of people, not tractable without major robotics innovation
@waldenpod Don't sweat it bro. This was me at Brown; bomb all the midterms because I was busy with club stuff. Then saddle up for finals and knock it out of the park. If the finals are weighted highly enough, you can still walk away with an A.
