This piece of junk is lying like this for over a month on the footpath opposite Taraben Master school near Balkanji baari on Juhu Tara Road. Impossible to walk and the oncoming traffic makes it difficult to even step on the road, leave aside injury risk. @mybmc

Mumbai AQI has raised plenty of questions, how bad is it & when will it ease? Here's the breakdown.

AQI is likely to improve from Friday onwards, due to a sharp dip in minimum temperatures to around 17 to 19°C. Drop in temperatures will help break the current temperature inversion which traps the air pollutants close to the surface & the coast. Cool nights strengthen the westerly wind movement, and it is a natural ventilation system for Mumbai.

The recent AQI spike happened because the sea breeze was completely inactive & also the atmosphere stayed warm along with high humidity and this pollution did not have any escape route and thus it was worsening day by day. Once the weekend starts to arrive things will get better over Mumbai improving the Air Quality.

More updates on this if things change.

The footpath outside Maneckji Cooper school Juhu has been in this condition for weeks, and it’s causing a lot of problems for children and their parents, forcing many to walk on the road with so much oncoming traffic. Kindly fix asap @mybmc
