When stylising your orbs, try treating the gradient as lighting. Sort your colours from 'brightest' to 'darkest' and play with the colour positions. After that, add an inner shadow of the darkest shade to give the orb a more 'spherical' look. 👇

Double-click your colour palette image in the Project panel to open it in your Footage panel. This means you can use a colour palette without obstructing part of your composition window.
