Allah, the Exalted, says:
{Indeed, We have created everything with precise measure.}

Doctors explain that the opening of the larynx has been determined with extremely precise measurement. If it were even slightly wider than it is, the human voice would disappear; and if it were even slightly narrower, breathing would become difficult. So either breathing would be comfortable and the voice would vanish, or the voice would be clear and breathing would be strained.

Allah says:
{The workmanship of Allah, who perfected all things.}

If vision were increased beyond the limit it currently has, our lives would become unbearable. If you look at the glass of water you are drinking now, you see it as clear, pure, and refreshing. But if the power of sight were slightly stronger and more precise, you would see astonishing things in that glass countless living organisms and harmless microbes. You would not be able to drink it.

If the sense of hearing were slightly heightened, you would not be able to sleep at night, because you would perceive every sound even the sounds of your digestive system alone would resemble a massive factory.

And if the sense of touch were intensified, you would constantly feel static electricity, which could turn life into an unbearable torment.

But Allah, Glorified and Exalted, split open for us the faculty of hearing, created sight and hearts, and fashioned the senses with exact precision.

Allah says:
{And in yourselves will you not then see?}

O human being, what has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord, who created you, proportioned you, and perfected your form?
