I wanted to circle back on this.
I reached out to the Union PR staff to see if they could enlighten us on what type of restorative care Kai underwent/is undergoing for the racist incident with Bobby Wood at the end of last season.
The Union PR team, which is wonderful, responded quickly and guided me to reach out to MLS PR for that answer.
After 11 days and multiple emails, I have not received a response.
An attempt was made on my end for the information, but this may be sensitive information (HIPAA), or perhaps MLS is not interested in sharing the process.
What we do know is that Kai has worked with some sort of psychologist (per the clip attached).
I'll try to ask Wagner the next time I am at the club for media work, but he may not even be allowed/willing to tell me.
Thanks!

Ta-Nehisi Coates speaks about how an experience in Palestine illuminated the connections between the African American and Palestinian liberation struggles, and the moral responsibility to speak out.
