Today, Pakistan launched the HPV vaccine to protect girls aged 9–14 from cervical cancer, joining 150+ countries. Phase 1 will reach 13M girls in Punjab, Sindh, Isbd & Kashmir. @UNICEF, with @Gavi & @WHO, is proud to support @GovtofPakistan so girls can grow up safe & healthy.

Meet Naina, 11 years old. She just received the #HPVvaccine & is one of the girls being protected from #CervicalCancer across Pakistan.
The national campaign will continue until 27 September. This vaccine is safe, effective, & offers a healthier future for millions of girls.
