very proud of my school today. we're raising money for an LGBTQ+ youth charity, pride flag raised high. church school, so we had a rev in to talk about faith & sexuality. he affirmed his support of LGBTQ+ community & apologised for the unaccepting actions of the church.

he stated that St Paul was against pedasty (abuse of power & sex), not same sex couples, asked the kids what jesus said about same sex couples. the answer? NOTHING. he said there's NOTHING against same sex couples but there IS a commandment condemning abuse ("love thy neighbour")
