@taylorhurst1998 that is a great point, I personally find it distracting especially if I have a personal account and then getting distracted with it there. I'm happy I personally do not have a personal Twitter account so I do not get distracted.

i personally feel that social media is a great platform to be used in class, however it can easily be misused by many during class. I feel that having an older more mature crowd to use social media might be a better idea in comparison to youth.

i feel that the classroom should use twitter as a platform more often as it can be used as a discussion board with some great features with endless possibilities. Also depending on the program and or class type using platforms such as Instagram for photography.

I have used social media in many ways for educational purposes whether it is for staying in contact with my group members or finding local news and current events, articles, blogs, and staying up to date with new information. Social Media is a great place to learn.

I genuinely do feel that digital activism does make a change because I personally feel that this is the way that the word of social issues goes around now. I feel that it is definitely powerful and many people become aware of issues through the support media.

I personally feel that social media is definitely effective in supporting activism and advocacy through their platforms. Things on social media go viral every single day. I have taken part in a campaign and became an advocate for a campaign called UnfairAndLovely
