Met with @RugeBoris and @NATO Senior Rep. in Ukraine Patrick Turner. We discussed the outcomes of the NATO–Ukraine Council in Kyiv, co-chaired by President @ZelenskyyUa and @SecGenNATO, as well as the evolving architecture of international engagement around peace for Ukraine.
Formats evolve – but what remains constant is allied coordination and shared political will.
I noted the constructive and sustained engagement of the United States. Unity only works when it is continuous.

Had a substantive meeting with Ambassador of Ireland to Ukraine @JonathanConlon togetherwith Deputy Head of the Office of the President @IrynaRMudra.
We discussed bilateral cooperation, economic ties, Ukraine’s EU accession process and Ireland’s upcoming Presidency of the Council of the EU inthe second half of 2026.
Particular attention was paid to the situation surrounding recent reports in the Irish media regarding the export of alumina to Russia in the context of the ongoing aggression.
Ukraine counts on continued cooperation with Ireland in advancing our European integration and strengthening a secure, resilient and prosperous Europe.

This week I had a meeting and exchange of views with Türkiye’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Ayşe Berris Ekinci @MFATurkiye@TCKievBE .
We appreciate Türkiye’s peace facilitation efforts and readiness to host further Ukraine–Russia talks. We discussed the peace process, the importance of maintaining international attention on Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, prospects for a full ceasefire, and regional security developments.
Touched upon the upcoming Ukraine–Türkiye bilateral political contacts.
APPLEBAUM: Russia's war in Ukraine is sometimes described, including recently by American Vice President, as if it were nothing more than territorial dispute, kind of scuffle over lines on map.
But when Russia denies that Ukraine is a real nation, builds concentration camps on Ukrainian territory, bans Ukrainian language and systematically arrests mayors, teachers, journalists, and priests, then Russia is also attacking Europe that was built after 1945, Europe whose borders are not supposed to be changed by force.
Russia invaded Ukraine not only to destroy Ukraine but also to prove that treaties are meaningless, alliances are weak, and brute force still decides fate of nations.
By waging imperial war of conquest, Russia seeks to undermine Europe's post-imperial order.
The day the Indian PM went to Moscow - “the special and privileged partner” bombed a major children hospital in Ukraine, Okhmadyt. The day the Lavrov went to India where he was received by the Indian PM - Moscow launched what is so far a major combined drone and missile attack on Ukraine during the war, killing civilians incl children and ruining residential buildings. Shall we follow the Russo-Indian agenda with a particular focus? And btw this “situation in Ukraine” is the unprovoked and unjust war of aggression against Ukraine waged by “the special and privileged partner of India” - russia.
Our contacts with the American side regarding guarantees for the implementation of the arrangements reached recently and announced by the President of the United States are ongoing.
The prisoner exchange – 1,000 for 1,000 – is being prepared and must take place. The Americans assumed responsibility for these guarantees. Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters has handed over the lists for one thousand POWs to the Russian side.
There was American mediation in reaching this arrangement on the exchange, and accordingly, we expect the American side to play an active role in ensuring it’s fulfilled.
We coordinated positions with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yuliia Svyrydenko, regarding negotiations with partners on financial support for Ukraine and the implementation of agreements already reached at various levels. It is important that every announced support package is implemented precisely when it is truly needed.
We also discussed the timetable for the planned strengthening of government structures – there are personnel issues that need to be resolved. Some personnel appointments require further dialogue with Members of Parliament. We agreed that part of the staff decisions at the level of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will be finalized next week.

I don’t think people fully realize how fast the future has arrived. With Tesla FSD, it’s as simple as pressing start and letting the car take over, something that felt impossible not long ago.
And this is just the beginning. Soon, robots like Optimus will be working alongside us, helping humanity in ways we’re only starting to imagine. The future isn’t coming… it’s already here.

DANNY BOY: "If I am dead, as dead I well may be,
Ye'll come and find the place where I am lying,
And kneel and say an Avé [a Hail Mary] there for me."
