@ActusDei Yes but I am questioning exactly this limit. What purpose does it solve? Nothing other than providing forced liquidity to Indian stocks from small Indian investors, while rich guys are free to invest abroad with these other complicated mechanisms.
@LarissaFernand Do these restrictions make any sense? If the big ticket investments can still be made via GIFT city or LRS route, wouldn't they anyway dwarf anything going through Mutual funds? This restriction only seems to be cosmetic that exclusively hurts average investor.
@avasthiniranjan Yes. And while we are at it, CCTV and microphones should be installed in AMC offices and broadcasted live to investors to maintain credibility.
@sama@TheAhmadOsman Ask "how we can improve" from someone who is not liking your product. What is this self pat on the back but humble at the same time routine?
@devinamehra@neeleshmisra Ye entitlement of Indian men nahi, entitlement of Indian elite hai jise sari life apna koi basic kaam nahi karna padta/aata. Anyway kisi ki Beti ke Birthday post pe itna serious react karna bhi not cool.
@mcuban@HouseOfMirth29 Actually what people invest is the left over after investing on oneself for food, clothes, shelter, entertainment etc. It doesn't make sense to over-invest on oneself.
@abhi_0509@ActusDei So only USP for MFDs is that they help investors hold on to investments? That's a real low bar. There has to be a bigger value proposition for MFD fees to make sense. I think most important is to tailor the portfolio to investor needs and to keep doing that as needs change.
@amitisinvesting The lack of any differentiated products from any of the hyperscalars or down the stack chain suggests that AI is so far mispriced. Not that it won't have big impact, but you can't have great margins if 4 other players provide exactly the same product.
@amitisinvesting And if only thing one needs to be great in this space is to have more compute, how is compute or AI capabilities any different from a commodity like rare earths? So far, who has a MOAT except $NVDA? Gemini is as good as chatgpt or anthropic. What's the big differentiator?
@AxisMutualFund the TER for your Greater China FoF is 0.65%, while the TER for the Schroeder greater China fund that it invests in is 0.75%. Can you please confirm whether the TER you quote is including the costs for underlying fund, as is the case e.g. with @EdelweissMF's fund.
@ActusDei@sahilkukreja9@Iamsamirarora But on the other hand, are the international funds saturated already? I don't think people want to include international funds in their portfolio in general. Home bias is strongly ingrained. The India growth story.
