Ruben Amorim has a totally different approach from Allegri and previous Milan managers during training sessions. This is what stands out:

- He participates in and supervises ALL the exercises
- Exercises are done WITH and WITHOUT the ball
- A lot of drills are focussed on FULL intensity. An exercise done nonchalantly is NOT ENOUGH.
- Everything is based on his 3-4-2-1 with variations of 4-4-2 in possession.
- A lot of focus on overloads and dominating with the ball. Attacking with 6 players (The 3 forwards, the 2 wingbacks, and the more advanced midfielder)
- The collective press is triggered from the front. Gonçalo Ramos will be CRUCIAL for this.
- He spend a lot of his time giving confidence to the youngsters. He believes that your age DOESN'T matter as long as you have the required skills and most importantly: WORK ETHIC.

A lot of principles he had at Sporting & Manchester United too, but way more developed, and way more focussed. People at the club describe his attitude as OBSESSED with Milan and obsessed to win.
