Two things I don't understand:

1) @runwayml being valued at $1.5B after their $141M Series C.

2) Andreessen Horowitz discussing putting $100M into @ideogram_ai at a $500M valuation only a couple of months after a $16.5M seed round.

Meanwhile Midjourney is out here with a WAY better product, millions of users, millions in revenue, and zero investors.

If Midjourney decided to take money from investors would ideogram even get money in the first place? I honestly doubt it.

But they're billing themselves as a "midjourney rival". OK BRO.

Can you imagine how much money these people would be willing to throw at Midjourney? It's gross.

The fact that these companies need to go out and raise hundreds of millions of dollars just to have a fighting chance against Midjourney (who has raised zero dollars from investors) goes to show you just how good Midjourney is and how mad the investors are they can't get a piece of it.

I attend every MJ office hours, I get on stage and ask questions, and nobody has laid out a clearer and more compelling vision then they have. Not even close.

These valuations are ridiculous.
