California dad loses part of his skull after drinking too many energy drinks. Austin turned to energy drinks to manage grueling work hours and long commutes. Unfortunately, this habit took a dangerous turn when he suffered a near-fatal brain hemorrhage.

After ruling out drug usage via toxicology screening, doctors identified excessive energy drink consumption as the likely cause. Following diagnosis, Austin underwent multiple brain surgeries that led to strokes, seizures, and brain swelling, ultimately resulting in the removal of a portion of his frontal skull.

This serves as a stark reminder that what provides energy can also lead to unexpected setbacks.

The only place in #bentilee to offer #WarmSpaces the @SoTLibraries is closed till the new year. I agree the staff need a break, but my god an alternative area should have been designated. There are many families that could have benefitted from it. Lost for words @SoTCityCouncil
