Community doesn’t function in silos. 25 of The Sameer Project team went to support the municipality’s cleaning campaign for international environment day in Gaza City.

The Sameer Project team and other groups cleaned together for hours, and we provided the cleaning staff 75 meals of mujaddara (rice and lentils). Total cost for meals was $160 with 11% commission.
Collaborative work with local organizations is at the heart of our values at The Sameer Project. We hope that borders open soon so that we can do more large scale community work and rebuild Gaza together.

You’re not being oppressed and words have meanings. Stop trying to make small positive changes for safety of others out to be oppression for you. Grow up.
Barricades? Do you think any sort of physical infrastructure for bike lanes will be a partition wall that completely keeps your from leaving your house? A small inconvenience for your is worth less than the lives of other people. Get over yourselves.
@PhiladelphiaGov@StreetsPhila This barricades in residents, destroys the historic vista of the neighborhood, increases traffic congestion, and is an example of runaway capture of city agencies and leaders by a minority of angry micromobility activists. All in advance of one the most important visitor Summer.
And honestly, I just think of places like. Belfast the West Bank, all of Palestine and those are people who live behind barricades with curfews. No one is fucking asking for that, they’re asking to not have to worry about a car killing while riding a bike or walking.
I was born with a sensitive soul in a world that does not know how to listen.
I perceive what passes unnoticed by others, and I feel the weight
of details they easily overlook. I never learned to live on the surface; every emotion reached me whole, sharp, and sincere. This sensitivity was a light that revealed the depth of things, and at the same time a shadow that weighed on my heart. With time, I came to understand that it is neither a burden nor a privilege alone, but a different path..
because those who feel more live more deeply, and those who live deeply pay the price and gain meaning at once...
My dear friends, it seems things are getting worse in Gaza. We are beginning to feel the implementation of their plan to advance beyond the Green Line and expand it, so that the total area occupied in Gaza will reach 70% of our land...
Every day we hear the sounds of explosions from tanks, and the sounds are clear to everyone; it's the highest point resulting from the tanks' advance...
I can't imagine how war could ever return... We've been through some very difficult times...
That's why I'm still insisting on stockpiling cat food... because if war breaks out, there will be famine here. The pictures below show how much weight I lost during the famine... and another picture of the aid rations they airdropped, which I received once during the war...
My dear friends, please... things are getting worse day by day... the campaign to stockpile food is not going well...
I want to store enough for 6 months for the cats...
I am very grateful to you for your support.

I am also very grateful for your support in covering their food and veterinary care at the shelter for the cats during this time via PayPal

Thank you so much. I am very grateful to you, my friends.
More than 171,000 Palestinians have been injured in Gaza by the occupation since October 2023. And this includes 43,000 with life changing injuries - permanent and traumatic. https://t.co/6l9JFjXgdv These numbers are probably a low estimate of the actual reality. Yet those who are injured, feeling pain and experiencing lack of medical support still must struggle to survive.
They set out daily to find food and water, sometimes as the only caretakers in their families while then need assistance themselves. Translating Falasteen x The Sameer Project needs to scale up water distribution - but the reality is funding is forcing us to scale down. We need your help. On May 17 we provided 322,000 liters to neighborhoods in the North.
Monetary solidarity is really needed. Donate to support our Food and Water Campaign.

We have to do something, fast.
https://t.co/wCYrSipkUD is currently listing 458 appeals - all confirmed to be for genocide survivors in Gaza - that haven’t received a single donation in over a month. Now try to imagine what that means: postponing critical healthcare, not being able to pay rent and facing eviction, or accruing debt on top of debt just to cover essential survival needs. The list is long. And it is all preventable.
If all pro-Palestine and free Palestine activists integrate the actual survival and immediate needs of the people in Gaza into their activism, we can end this unnecessary suffering.
An easy way to start is to bring more people outside the retweet bubble to https://t.co/wCYrSipkUD. There’s simply no excuse not to: the site lists around 2,300 confirmed family survival appeals from Gaza, sorted so the most neglected appear first. It also provides ready-to-print flyers in multiple languages for easy distribution, among many other tools.
We will keep improving the platform where we can and are exploring ways to expand its reach more effectively and organically. But the support for families desperately trying to survive this ongoing genocide *must not depend on that*. The tools are already here - so use them!
Our dear friends Rola and Duaa still need and deserve our support (and so much more from us). Help bring the momentum to keep their family lifeline afloat and any relief possible. Just $300 away from sending their next transfer. This can happen today 🙏💚
