This came in the mail and I am so excited and proud to be a Mandela Washington Fellow.
On the Public Management track studying at Syracuse University, New York.
@IkejaElectric Are you having a service down time? I have been trying to buy electricity for hours now. I tried @buypowerng & @remitano still the same thing.
One of my wildest moments was someone mocking me years ago for not having a car. I was shocked to say the least. In his words- You are a boss but you still dey enter public transport 😳
One time, someone tried to mock me for being an Uber driver.
It was years ago. I was still figuring things out when I arrived here, doing multiple jobs to stay afloat.
One afternoon, I arrived at a parking lot to pick a client up, and someone I had known
The funny thing is that this guy was also struggling to enter the same cab with me 😂. The back story he didn’t know was that because I had moved from another city, my car was yet to be sent to me and this city didn’t have uber or bolt!
A friend in the UK sends me money every year on my birthday, this year I got tired of just wishing him a happy birthday and sent some money into his naija account.
He said “I know You dey always think naira is nothing compared to pound but know you just paid my water bill…
My new gym just did some major renovations at the gym.
I am waiting to see the email - Dear customer, due to economic realities……….we have to increase the price of your subscription 😂
@buypowerng I purchased electricity from your platform last night and was not given my token. Sent several messages to your customer support but no response!🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
This brought back memories of the first time 6 years ago when this was first designed and the impact it had. I am happy to still see that this is on going…cheers to you guys 👏

Coming into the new year I decided to take up writing from my heart, the way it all started over 15 years ago. Over the last 8 year I have written award winning proposals, business journals, thesis, presentations, name it all but now I’m adding this.
