It’s been a tough few weeks. My 10yo daughter was diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive cancer called interdigitating dendritic cell sarcoma (IDCS). I’m reaching out to identify clinicians/patients who have encountered pediatric IDCS, indeterminate dendritic cell histiocytosis or other (non-LCH) histiocytic sarcomas cases.

I'm trying to understand non-surgical chemo and targeted therapy options, new pathology markers to better diagnose subtypes/treatments, and any data on progression in pediatric patients. Please feel free to share – I’m trying to cast a wide net due to the rarity of this condition and how little is known.

With the start of #CrohnsandColitisAwarenessWeek, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many young children living with #IBD. It’s heartbreaking to see the rising incidence of IBD among young children and the immense burden they face at such a tender age.

Nothing is more urgent than advancing treatments and finding a cure to alleviate this burden. In the meantime, I hope below resource offers comfort, inspiration, and empowerment to young children.

Our government is letting US Food companies get away with serving us poisons that aren't allowed in other countries. Chemicals heavily regulated or banned overseas include: TBHQ (Reese's PB Cups), Red #40 (Gatorade, Doritos), Yellow 5&6 (Kellogg's cereals), BHA & BHT Titanium Dioxide (Skittles), and Glyphosate (In almost all conventionally grown processed food).
