My father passed away last night from a massive heart attack. I am devastated and filled with grief and sadness. He taught me to always be there for people and never let me down. He was my best friend and I will miss him dearly! RIP dad

As a lifelong islander fan, I must say hats off to the Carolina hurricanes on finally winning a Stanley Cup. By far the hardest trophy to win in sports and they did it the right way. Much respect.

My son is graduating high school. Class of 2026. It’s truly unreal how fast time flies. I just wanna say out loud how proud I am of him and how excited I am for him to go to Tufts in the fall. Definitely up there with one of the proudest parenting moments.

I remember just how insane it was outside and inside Nassau Coliseum when the Islanders returned to the playoffs back in 2013. And that was only a six year wait.

Can't imagine what it's going to be like for Sabres fans tonight after 14 years. Should be electric and one for the ages.

I don't get the hate and hostility towards Anders Lee. I want him back, but even if you don't, be gracious about it. The guy has been an absolute warrior for the team, fourth all time in team history in goals and fourth in points this year, and a true gem of a human being.

Jobs are on the line, but now’s not the time to say “X must go.” Despite the collapse, they are in third place in the division. You’ll know in ten days if anyone’s going to get fired.

It’s truly shocking to me how fans perceive an 82 game season. It’s a microcosm of life. There will be ups and there will be lots of heavy adversity. What matters is where you finish and this Islanders team will finish in a playoff spot. #isles
