This feels like a a non story. Pretty much every team flys back to its base after each match, and Iran’s flight last night (45 minutes) was one of the shortest of the entire tournament. They agreed to this before the World Cup began and then got upset when an unusual, last minute request wasn’t approved.
There really aren’t any rules. You just go to court. If it fails, go to court again until a judge says you’re all set.
Want a 7th year?
Sure
Broke rules?
Ahhhh, it’s fine.
There AREN’T any rules.
This is the wildest World Cup story yet. If someone in Toronto sells a ticket above face value they get fined $25,000 yet the city of Toronto bought 3,500 World Cup tickets early and then sold them to taxpayers at a markup as a “revenue generation strategy.” What the hell man.

Michigan has more than 500 school districts.
Florida has 67.
They have DOUBLE our population, a fraction of the school districts and administrators- yet they are ranked #2 in education while Michigan is among the worst.
It’s time to completely rethink education in Michigan.
The anti-alcohol stuff has become totally hysterical. It’s the worst and the gayest of the 90s anti-smoking propaganda all over again. Give up alcohol if you want but the stuff isn’t battery acid. A sip won’t send you to the hospital. A glass of wine ruined three days of your life? When did it become normal and acceptable for men to brag about their weak constitutions? Really weird.
Pretty cool back story here.
Sweta is a die-hard Lions fan and one of the most vocal online. When Jack Campbell decided to sign his extension, he and the team thought it would be unique to let the fans know first. So, with Jack's approval, the @Lions had Sweta "break" the news.
Such BS lol the NFL doesn't even hide their intentions
They couldn't throw the bye somewhere around the 3 games in 11 days with an international game? no they threw it at the beginning of the season and just said deal with it ....
The 2026 Detroit Lions are the first team since the 2021 Washington Football Team to have three road divisional games over the final four weeks of the season.
It’s also the second straight year the Lions will play three road games over the final four weeks, making it the third time in the Dan Campbell era that Detroit has had three road games over the final four weeks of a season.
League-wide, it has only happened 21 times over the last six seasons, and the Lions account for three of those occurrences (14.3%). An absurd statistical anomaly.
