@ridd_design@rileycx I always think the trap is thinking that smaller screens are only mobile devices. A visitor putting it 1/2 or 1/3 on desktop next to a document etc is also what some consider "mobile".
@ridd_design@rafahari Loved how much this episode was about Metal Gear Solid, those moments in the game have always stuck with me too. @rafahari your changelog videos for the Along app were a big inspo for me to show there's always a fun way to do something boring.
@ridd_design Rlly interesting, where does testing, gathering feedback/iterating fit? Is that done using the engineers scaffold and designers cursor work? Are we at the point that getting things wrong with built products is cheap so we don't need to really prototype in the traditional sense?
@joshuantaylor Yep said he had been learning organ for the past 3 years or something to be able to design a product related to it. That's some decent user research tbh.
My favorite Inside the NBA moment is when Charles Barkley shared that he got a bracelet from his friend in the steam room.
"Towels were on, Chuck?" kills me every time
@vinvan No definitely not. I do think a neglected part of 'getting better at design' is learning what accessible patterns are so you can build them into your process at the foundation.
