I was always taught that if you have a platform , no matter how small, you should use it for good.
Sitting in Kohl Center last night I couldn’t believe I was watching a basketball game just 24 hours after the tragedy at MSU.

Today’s the last day of disability awareness month, a month I didn’t know about until my dad became disabled. Thank you to all of those that have fought for accessibility and awareness, and those that continue to fight for change for people like my dad. Love you @dtelgenh
STUDENT JOURNALISTS ARE JOURNALISTS. And they're journalists who travel to every corner of the country to cover this team with limited resources and funding. Treat them with the same respect you treat every outlet with @NCAA@NCAAIceHockey. Credential all 4.
I am one of four student journalists on @theblockm’s hockey beat. We have covered and traveled to every single @umichhockey game this season.
But when we tried to get credentials for the Frozen Four, we were told by @NCAAIceHockey that there were only two available seats. 🧵
Yesterday, Jaelin Llewellyn played his last game at Crisler Arena. After his second major injury a year ago, his return has exemplified his pride and appreciation.
Special thanks to @abst16 for starting this project a year ago.

When I first joined The Daily, the sports section didn't feel welcoming for women. But two years later, that's totally changed. I'm grateful that I can tell my story & that I get to be a part of this amazing community of women.

Happy National Girls and Women in Sports Day! Covering @umichbball for two seasons — last year with @abst16, and now with @lizacushnir (and getting amazing photos from @Grace_Beal27) has been incredible!!

It is complete! My wall of @michigandaily covers commemorating this incredible @UMichFootball run:
1-3. Three unforgettable wins over OSU
4. U-M's first No. 1 ranking since 1997, after the 2023 B1G Title Game
5. The Rose Bowl win
6. National Champions
After an undefeated regular season, @umichfootbal sealed the deal with a National Championship win.
This week’s #SportsWednesday cover: Business is Finished.
For those that don't know, the 16 in my username is because of Denard. Decided when I was 13 that he was my favorite Michigan player ever. This feels right.
Today in Columbus, @michigandaily rekindled a decades-dormant touch football rivalry with @TheLantern. The Daily won, 21-7.
Thank you so much to The Lantern for hosting us and making this such a special game. We love you all.
This year, The Michigan Daily is taking our Rivalry Edition with OSU’s student newspaper, The Lantern, to the next level. Tomorrow, @theblockm will travel to Columbus to restore our long-dormant touch football rivalry with The Lantern. (Design credit Lys Goldman and Abby Schreck)
Key word here is “instead.” I don’t even think this kind of project is a bad idea (logistical hurdles with putting it together on short notice notwithstanding), but it’s clear that @thesnews wanted to duck the game and is just using this as an excuse to save face.
