@GreggWStone I think having ECMO in control arm will probably offset any mortality benefit of ECMO’s superior hemodynamic support (vascular complications, stroke,…), and IABP wouldn’t add much hemodynamic wise. I think the next RCT should be whenever 5L percutaneous pump is available
Nicely wrapped up episode about egos in IC, and mentor-trainee relationship with a colleague @KanounSid and @DrBillLombardi “We are COLLEAGUES, there are times i need you to hold me accountable to be a normal person, and other times you need me to coach you in your life”
Honoured to have had an opportunity to be a guest on @DrBillLombardi's insightful podcast, 'The Journey to Better.' This episode delved into “egos in cardiology”, a tricky topic but the discussion was a true pleasure. I wholeheartedly recommend tuning into all podcast episodes
I’m delighted to be a co-inventor and to work with brilliant @AimanAbuAmmar on this promising platform for cardiovascular drug-delivery. Microneedles skin patch with burst and sustained Furosemide release @BioMaterSci@RoySocChem
I am pleased to share our recent publication in Biomaterials Science:
