Wishing a Happy Father’s Day to all fathers and father-figures out there who show up and sacrifice unconditionally for the good of their families.
Fatherhood goes beyond just biology and providing. It is about nurturing character. It's about teaching humility, honour and respect for oneself and for others.
It's about raising children with values that will positively shape the society that their own children will inherit tomorrow.
As I grow older, I respect Mzee J. W. Ssentamu more, and yes, now I understand him even more. Happy Father’s Day.
There are places we pass through in life… and there are places that become part of who we are.
Manchester will forever be my home.
To the city, the club, and every supporter, my sincerest thank you. These past four years have been unforgettable, filled with moments my family and I will carry with us for the rest of our lives. There simply aren’t enough words to describe the happiness and warmth we’ve felt here.
Thank you for every cheer, every memory, and for making us feel at home from the very first day.
Forever a Red Devil ❤️
Revolutionary greetings to our Dear Kyambogo University fraternity. As you go the polls today, bear in mind that you have the power and the opportunity to make your voices heard, not just at your campus but across the nation. It is the duty of your generation to put your best foot forward. If I were you, I would seize the moment and vote for comrade Okello to lead the charge. Let’s do this together.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino tried to force a handshake between heads of Israeli and Palestine football associations during a FIFA conference in Vancouver Canada. It did not go well.
FIFA President Infantino just tried to force the representative of Palestine to stand with Israel and take a picture at the 76th FIFA Congress
Palestine refused instead shouting out "We are suffering"
FIFA is a sick organization and the World Cup should be boycotted by everyone
Growing tension in parts of South Africa where anti-migrant groups are targeting foreign nationals in demonstrations. Thousands of people have protested in Johannesburg demanding undocumented foreigners to leave.
Al Jazeera’s Fahmida Miller reports.
Here, I agree with @FrankGashumba. There's a concrete reason the greats of all time — wisemen like Socrates, Plato and Aristotle disliked Democracy.
If you are flying, you want your pilot to be the very best, not just qualified. If you're informed that your pilot is a former taxi driver who trained himself on how to fly an aeroplane, you won't even get near that aircraft.
You want to be treated by a qualified doctor.
You want your house designed by a professional architect.
You want your kids taught by the very best teachers.
You want your roads constructed by the best engineers, etc.
But when it comes to political leadership, the one thing that determines the welfare of an ENTIRE LIFE, we want every boofhead and nitwit to be allowed to choose and be chosen.
That's TRAGIC.
Like Socrates, I don't believe that a narrow few should only ever vote. I do, however, insist that only those who have thought about issues rationally and deeply should be let near a vote.
The general population is NOT smart enough to manage things, even contemplate the gravity of their decisions.
Frank Gashumba: I do not believe in democracy or in electing leaders. Even Socrates argued that voting should not be open to everyone.
