What Elon has done for humanity... I don't really know how someone can actually have a heart to hate Elon

• Elon is the reason free speech exists...he's the greatest warrior of free speech the world has ever had

• Elon is the reason you at least have a voice on the internet against your socialist dictatorship

• Road safety improved ~10x and you don't have to drive with FSD

• Starlink internet from space...now everybody is getting internet, reaching places where internet never existed

• Generative AI exists because of Elon Musk....he's the major reason for AI (Elon named OpenAI)

• Elon is the reason sustainable goals are being reached because everybody talks about climate a million times but no body solves the toughest problems

• Before Tesla, electric cars were jokes; now every automaker is scrambling to catch up

• Working to cure paralysis, blindness, and neurological disorders through brain-computer interfaces at Neuralink

• Taking humanity to the stars and expanding consciousness with Starship - The largest flying rocket ever made and it's fully reusable miracle

• The Boring Company solving urban traffic without government waste

While all these politicians are just yapping about climate change and have never done anything remotely better for the environment....they're often the most hypocrites

Zcash's next major network upgrade is closer than most people realise. and last week's Zebra 4.3 update is one of the clearest signs yet.

this release shipped with security patches to transaction verification and deserialization logic, performance improvements and several bug fixes.

also inside this update is ZIP-235, the Network Sustainability Mechanism, now in Zebra for testing.
it's a fee burning mechanism where a portion of transaction fees get burned over time, tightening supply and strengthening the long-term economics of the network.
ZIP-235 isn't live yet but it's one of the key building blocks of NU7 and it being in Zebra means we're getting closer.

so what is NU7 and why should you, an everyday @Zcash user care?

NU7 is the most significant thing coming to this ecosystem in years and it's not a developer conversation, it directly changes what you can do with Zcash as a regular user.

➺ Zcash Shielded Assets, ZSAs, will let you hold and transfer shielded versions of other tokens privately on Zcash. the same privacy you already have with ZEC, extended to other assets entirely.

➺ memo bundles will expand the encrypted information you can attach to a shielded transaction, making private communication richer and more useful alongside payments.

➺ after NU7 activates, Zebra becomes the sole consensus node for the network, retiring the older zcashd entirely and moving Zcash onto faster, more modern infrastructure.

so tl:dr, with NU7, you get:

➺ more assets you can hold privately.
➺ better tools for private communication.
➺ a stronger, faster network underneath it all.

Zebra 4.3 is one more step toward all of that.
the pieces are being assembled carefully and NU7 is getting closer.
