A strong storm with high winds and heavy snow is expected from Thursday - Saturday. 4-8 feet of snow is possible on the mountains with snow to lake level. Possibly the biggest 3-day totals since March 2020, which we couldn't ski due to Covid lockdowns...

@northstarmtn Thank you! What can we expect in terms of shuttle pickup? Haven't seen one in 15+ min and huge lines in parking lots. Really appreciate your service on this busy day! 🙏
You’ve never heard of #Napster?
In 1999 I set up 3-5 .mp3 file transfers on Napster every night and hoped they’d be done by morning. #TrueStory
That’s right, kids. It took ALL NIGHT to download a few songs.
Napster is the #GenX equivalent of walking to school uphill both ways.

@jsoltero@northstarmtn Also wondering whether we need to cancel lessons for tomorrow if roads are still closed today? We called many times yesterday but no answer. We know teams are super busy but also want to know if we should cancel in advance or whether there is leniency given the situation.

I always ask why.
Why are we sick?
It's the food.
Why do we have this food ?
It's our food system.
Why do we have this food system?
It's our food policies.
Why do we have these food policies?
Because we have a $15 trillion food and agriculture industry.
Great piece from @drJoshS and @JenniferNuzzo on why we should prioritize reopening schools and how to do it responsibly.
As they write, "deciding whether to reopen schools is not only a question of benefits versus risks, but also a matter of priorities.”https://t.co/MzGE9i8yS9
This is very good. To put it bluntly, it is entirely possible to drink alcohol and lift weights at home, but it seems like it is really not possible for children to learn math there.
