I just hope they slow down the cosmos rollout. They can’t support issues with the Gravity. Unless they really build out the service network they can’t handle real volumes. And with a new model on new tech with new software, there are bound to be issues. Fix what is out there, build the service footprint, and then expand. Why am I not in charge of everything? 😆

2 Things:

1) Isn’t shifting your use from Anthropic/OpenAI to cheaper open source Models still just shifting from one GPU use to another? Maybe a cheaper but less efficient GPU use (can’t confirm that). So maybe companies aren’t getting enough value to justify was much frontier lab but still loading up on GPU usage.

2) If they shift research and clerical usage to open source but still lean into agentic usage for coding, they could be saving money on the edges while still overall increasing the GPU usage.
