I fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. I carried a TS SCI and secret service credentials. My responsibility was to have an answer for any technology or device limited only by the imagination of the bomb maker. The longer our war went, the simpler the bombs got.. the simpler they got, the more effective they were. I watched wave upon wave of new radio systems, radar systems, detection devices, uniforms, and reinventions of vehicles with 4 wheels and a motor. I witnessed the Osprey debacle and F35 money pit. I heard time and time again “use it or lose it” referring to carelessly expending ammo and explosives to justify the same allotment the next fiscal year.

If @LindseyGrahamSC has “concerns” about @PeteHegseth it must be a concern that he may stop the self-feeding snake that is the northern Virginia defense industrial complex from robbing us blind with our own blood. Perhaps it’s that Pete may prove that the fight in the warrior is infinitely more valuable on the battlefield than the price of his gear. He may have concerns that a warless United States jeopardizes the industry lobbying so hard for the status quo.

But he should have NO CONCERN over Pete’s character. I guarantee you that!
