Langevin Block → Office of the Prime Minister and Privy Council.

Sir John A. Macdonald statues removed in Victoria, Regina, Kingston and Charlottetown.

Schools, parks and public buildings renamed across the country.

Then Trump renames Lake Ontario and suddenly Canada discovers:

“YOU CAN’T JUST ERASE HISTORY!”

Oh, NOW names matter? 😂🇨🇦

The story Canadian media should have written five minutes after Carney appointed a U.S. Democrat operative as his PMO COO… but were all afraid of reprisal:

Mark Carney installed Maia Johnson — a longtime American Democratic operative — as the first-ever Chief Operating Officer of the Prime Minister’s Office, a role equivalent to White House Chief of Staff. She also holds the concurrent title of Senior Special Advisor for “United States Stakeholder Strategy.

Johnson is a US citizen. She directed scheduling for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, worked at Michael Bloomberg’s Hawkfish, provided strategic consulting to the Biden campaign in 2020, and has deep Bloomberg network ties. As a non-Canadian, she is barred from Top Secret clearance — yet she is now Carney’s top deputy with unclear access to sensitive material. There was no official announcement on the PMO website

Her path to Ottawa runs through the climate-finance web Carney co-chaired (GFANZ with Bloomberg), Gerald Butts (now advising alongside Carney’s wife at Eurasia Group), John Podesta, and recent private gatherings involving Barack Obama, Alex Soros, Huma Abedin, and senior Canadian officials. These are the same networks that have long treated Canada as a friendly base for opposing a Republican White House

This is not neutral staffing. It is the latest chapter in a pattern of elite US Democratic access and coordination with Canada’s Liberal government, now colliding with collapsing USMCA talks, Carney declaring Canada is “at war” with the U.S., and Trump’s retaliatory 50% tariffs on Canadian autos, trucks, and steel
