US AUTHORIZES IRAN OIL-RELATED GENERAL LICENSE
U.S. Treasury issues a general license allowing production, delivery, and sale of Iranian-origin crude oil, petrochemical, and petroleum products through Aug. 21, 2026, according to the Treasury Department website. The authorization defines a temporary regulatory window for Iran-linked energy transactions.
CENTCOM spokesman Capt. Tim Hawkins told me: "Iran does not control the Strait of Hormuz. Traffic continues to flow, and U.S. forces are monitoring the situation to ensure this remains the case."
The most important part of averaging down is not the stock price.
It is what changed in the business.
If $NOW falls while enterprise demand stays strong, I pay attention.
If $ZETA falls while growth and cash flow remain healthy, I pay attention.
If $SNAP falls while monetization and cost control improve, I pay attention.
But if the fundamentals weaken, a lower price is not automatically an opportunity.
A dip only becomes attractive when the value falls less than the price.
🇮🇷🇺🇸Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi is planning to travel to Switzerland on Saturday, according to a source with knowledge. The source said this could still change
🇮🇷🇺🇸According to a source from one of the mediating countries, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told several of his counterparts on Friday that the ceasefire in Lebanon is a critical issue for Iran and "make or break" for the U.S.-Iran negotiations
🇮🇷🇺🇸A second source from one of the mediating countries said the Iranians stressed they want to see a ceasefire take hold before traveling to Switzerland
I think $SNAP will find a buyer to take specs for at least the amount of capital they've invested in likely more, which is over $3 billion. 7,000 patents and a cutting edge market ready product that has tech enthusiasts excited is worth a lot. So they will not only stop spending but actually get value for it. Stock easily a $15 to $20 or more if that happens.
@MultiMismanaged As goofy as they are, Snap is likely the furthest along for hardware / real-life applications of AI—which seems like where the next value unlock will be. This demo sold me on that.
Hormuz traffic shows recovery
Verified Strait of Hormuz crossings reached 25 on 18 June, marking a notable increase in daily maritime activity. Traffic was evenly distributed across both directions, with most vessels following established Iranian route patterns. Five sanctioned vessels were recorded among the crossings, while no additional physical attacks have been confirmed since 10 May. The latest figures coincide with discussions surrounding the implementation phase of the US-Iran 60 day memorandum framework, which aims to preserve the ceasefire, support navigation through the Strait and facilitate broader negotiations. While this d/d uptick points to improving operating conditions, unresolved implementation details and continued dark crossings indicate a continued elevated degree of caution with ship operators.
